Sitting down to read LISA’S GIFT by Mackenzie McKade, I knew that I was in for a good story.  I had no idea the plethora of emotions this book would wring from me.  Elation, sadness and ultimately joy – LISA’S GIFT pretty much took me full circle.  I loved being a witness to Jana’s blossoming and tutorage under Nicolas and Lisa.  An unwitting hero, Nicolas was the epitome of manhood; good looking, forceful and respectful.  His ability to love and care for Jana, as well as Lisa, increased my curiosity about this sort of lifestyle.  Nicolas’ true love for Jana came through and I sat in wonder watching in satisfaction from the sidelines.

A Warriors Witch is a tantalizing tale full of passion, conflict, and angst. Sabine is a perfect mix of innocence and piety while charming readers and drawing them into her world. Conall makes a great leader with his strength and fairness while also showing his vulnerable side. Mackenzie McKade has done a great job of creating a world that is perfectly balanced with entertaining characters, mystery, and some really hot love scenes. This story gets 5 Angels.

This is a well-developed and suspenseful story with a very strong romance. Sabine is a very strong character especially when faced with the hostility of the Lachlan clan. Conall does his best to protect her but falls short in finding out the source of the troubles, somewhat justifying Sabine’s fears. I loved her affinity for the woodland creatures, belying her predator side, and her ability to change into any creature has interesting possibilities. Eacharn is thoroughly unpleasant, but Ewen has hidden depths. I also liked little Iris’s character, the child, as usual sees more than her elders.

Ms. McKade’s imagination and her ability to so eloquently express her creativity made reading A Warrior’s Witch absolutely delightful. Sabine’s fear of leaving her clan and her desire to fulfill Conall’s wishes was sweet and made her an endearing character. Conall’s protective nature is both dominant and sexy. Together, they are a beautiful couple and their story had me quickly flipping the pages until the very end!

Fallon's Revenge is a really fantastic vampire story. The book is slightly darker than Ms. McKade's previous book, but you can also find her special kind of humor in this story. Ms. McKade's writing draws her readers immediately from the first page into the story and keeps you captivated till the last page. This reviewer was really sorry when the story ended. The characters found a way into her heart.

This reviewer can highly recommend Fallon's Revenge to every fan of vampire and cowboy romance. It's one of the best books in this genre that this reviewer has read for a long time.

Ms. Mckade has written another dark, sexy vampire tale. The story is strong and simple. The laws of existence for the vampires- their powers, how the use them, ect- all make sense and stay consistent through the story. I loved the weaving of the Native American lore into the story.

The plot is strong and the story is well-written. Fallon and Adrian have a sizzling, tempestuous relationship that ignites the pages. All the action scenes were well done, even though I didn’t find the final battle scene to be as suspenseful as I would have liked.

Fallon’s Revenge is a hot, passionate story, one that sticks out in a world of erotic vampire novels.

I found myself enthralled in the lives of Eral and Kalina because they are two characters that test the boundaries of their unique relationship. All of the characters in this story played a vital part; from the most evil to the innocent and enjoying them all was so easy to do. I enjoyed some characters more than others, especially Lacos; he cemented this book to my imagination that much more. Kalina has lived the life of a submissive while serving the Tarok kings and now that she’s gained her freedom she’s reluctant to be dominated again. Thankfully, Eral recognizes her need for some independence, but he still senses her need for domination as well. Ms. McCray and Ms. McKade begin their story with an explosive, sizzling, sensual, and just plain HOT bout of lovemaking between Kalina and Eral that’ll leave you panting and begging for more. These authors deliver a masterfully written story that is interwoven with the recurring suspense of what Balin will be up to next. Cheyenne McCray and Mackenzie McKade have created a magical, mystical world with beautiful, interesting characters that are playing out a plot filled with suspense, evil, political intrigue, loss, life, love, and intense relationships. I laughed, I cried, and I cheered on the good guys. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series and highly recommend this book to anyone.

Return to Wonderland:  Kalina’s Discovery is another richly woven story by the outstanding writing pair of Ms. McCray and Ms. McKade.  These women have such wonderful imaginations and writing skills.  They take to the undersea world of Atlantis and people it with wonderful characters that will make you laugh and cry.  They also describe the undersea world so well that you believe that you are swimming with the werefin.  The only thing keeping some readers away is the outstanding portrayal of a loving Dominate/submissive relationship.  Eral and Kalina are made for each other. Their first coupling is intense and passionate and the feeling that it stirs in both leaves them longing for more. The authors bring the pair’s awakening love along slowly and interweave a powerful threat that endangers all of the people of the sea, making this story a page-turner from the very beginning.  There is plenty of romance, danger, and action for any reader.  This is a great book to end the summer with.

I loved this book. WOW! Mackenzie McKade has written a masterpiece. I love this series and this book in particular is sensational. The world that Ms. McKade created is sensual, erotic and inspiring. She has a way of bringing the characters alive off the pages and making you feel that your really know these people. I couldn't put this down until I was done and it kept me turning pages well into the night! The plot is well thought out and doesn't give away the mystery until it's time. I am hoping that Mackenzie McKade will not stop with Terrance's story, but will find Taryn's story crying out to be heard. Thanks for the great fantasies and keep up the great work. This is a must have book and a must have series. I can't say enough about this book and highly recommend it.

Mackenzie McKade has graciously provided her readers with her newest release THE CHARADE. This is the tantalizing second installment to her ECSTASY series and gives us another glimpse into this ultra sexy realm and the men who run it. This story is fast paced, full of hot tingle-your-toes sex scenes. There’s an interesting suspenseful plot that will keep you guessing about the reason someone would try to frame Ciarra for murder. We also get to meet the Thorneson brothers’ sister, Taryn. Now there’s a kick-butt woman who isn’t going to tolerate nonsense from anyone. I can’t decide which of the siblings I want to know more about first. Well done Ms. McKade, I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book in this thrilling series.

Ms McKade continues our exploration of Ecstasy Island and furthers our acquaintance with the ever so dominant Thorenson brothers.  Shawn is the youngest and the one who appears to have the lightest hand in comparison to Tor and Terrance.  His protective instincts and possessive reactions to the heroine were well displayed in the story.  Indeed, the uncharacteristic intervention on behalf of Ciarra made for interesting situations between the brothers.  It was also fascinating to hear their philosophy behind BDSM as explained by Shawn in various scenes throughout the book. 

The actual villain was made fairly obvious as the story progressed but one was still curious as to how the various details would be linked together.  The elaborate conspiracy was brought to a very satisfying conclusion. 

The Charade - Fallen Angel Reviews

The Charade instantly grabs the reader’s attention with an alarming, startling suspense and maintains an intriguing interest until the very end. Between the countless, wickedly lustful, sexual encounters and thrilling murder mystery I was constantly flip flopping between a state of orgasmic arousal and being a detective player. I have to give many thanks to Mackenzie McKade for withholding the reasoning behind the great murder mystery until the right moment and for especially leaving me breathless with enormous desire. Whew! The chemistry between Shawn and Ciarra went from hot to scorching in a flash and their continuous dominant/submissive sexual foreplay was down right sinful. Readers please note there is a female-to-female scene; however, it was done in such a tasteful manner that I really enjoyed it. Overall, The Charade deserves the highest Fallen Angel Reviews Award of 5 Angels and a Recommended Read because it provided me with the ultimate satisfaction – both physically and emotionally. I can hardly wait until Ms. McKade’s next Ecstasy installment. If you desire an outstanding suspenseful read with a BDSM factor, then The Charade is the perfect book to loose yourself in. Enjoy!

I really would love to read more about the fascinating inhabitants of Zygoman, especially Shawn's brother Terrance. He is the quintessential alpha male. The Charade is the latest story in MacKenzie McKade’s Ecstasy series, and I’ve been waiting for it eagerly ever since I read the first book in the series.  The Charade mixes amazingly hot and yet emotion-filled BDSM sex with a murder mystery, which kept me guessing until the very end.  Mackenzie manages to mix two of my absolute favorite things in this scorching story – fantastic dominance/submissive sex scenes and a plot that twists and turns to disguise the eventual outcome.  A masterful story and now I’m waiting to see what new things will await readers in the next story in this series.

SIX FEET UNDER

Like riding a roller coaster in the dark, Six Feet Under is a thrill. It is highly erotic story with characters that draw you into their lives and heart pounding action that kept me turning the pages. The author does not give the reader one minute to take a breath and I did not want to, afraid I might miss something good. God forbid I miss the plethora of gorgeous men that traipse through the tale. Choosing one of these men as my favorite is like trying to decide which Krispy Kreme doughnut to eat --impossible. Charlene Madison did not have that problem. Devin Leduc is the other half to her soul. She tries to resist his lure, but let’s face it, that just makes their loving hotter. I'm not even going to describe the amount of drama her resistance to Devin and his life adds to the novel. I will just say it is exciting. Six Feet Under is a treasure. I'm happy Ms. McKade left room for a sequel.

She also makes sure that Devin has no easy life with her, but that makes it only more interesting. Add many very interesting and especially hot secondary characters, especially Damien and as well Charlee’s sexy brothers to the story and will have a fantastic book, which will stay with you for days onward.

SIX FEET UNDER is a thrilling story that will capture the reader from the very first word. Charlene is a no-nonsense kind of gal who grew up with two overprotective brothers. She doesn't take crap from any man and Devin is no different. Of course, he does have the dark, seductive stranger thing going on and the man sure knows how to make a woman purr. But still, that doesn't give him the right to say she can't do her job anymore. Devin has all but given up hope of ever finding the woman meant for him. He has felt Damien's despair and struggle to maintain his sanity and not completely turn into the monster they are searching for. Devin and Charlene are well-matched and I thoroughly enjoyed her defying him over and over. It was rather funny to watch Charlene basically give him the finger and tell him where to go while she snuck out of the house and went about her business. Several minor characters play a major role in Devin and Charlene's lives: Charlene's friend, Gloria, who is a handful and hilarious; Blake and James, Charlene's too-much-testosterone brothers; Devin's brothers, Lucius and Damien (yum-yum); and Jacque Montague. Is he friend or foe?

Author Mackenzie McKade has captured this reviewer's attention with SIX FEET UNDER. The fast-paced storyline, intriguing characters, and spicy sex all combine to make this a must read for paranormal readers. I for one hope Ms. McKade plans to write some more about these people. (Hint! Hint!)

I was quickly drawn into Six Feet Under by the heart pounding terror I felt when Charlene found herself buried alive; though familiar vampire lore quickly helped comfort me and further drew me into Ms. McKade's web.  Watching Charlene learn to overcome her fear of being buried alive and to trust in Devlin; while Devlin learned to accept  Charlene's need to be her own woman and to compromise with her, not dictate to her, was emotionally satisfying. The mental ménage between Charlene, Devlin, Damien and Lucius was hot, humorous and spicy as Charlene was in public at the time. I absolutely loved Six Feet Under and hope Ms. McKade writes a sequel to round out Damien's story and to find Lucian a mate.

Mackenzie McKade has written a delightfully, witty and fast paced read, giving depth to her main characters. Charlee is indomitable and secure in her own abilities, which can be a real headache for a dominant alpha vampire. There is some violence in it, but it isn't gratuitous and only used when describing the vampire's attacks. For this reviewer, they were very mild in reference. If you are a lover of the vampire realm, of their mystery and magic, then SIX FEET UNDER will be a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Six Feet Under is an entertaining read with lots of action, well-developed characters, and lots of family dynamics. Between Charlee's two very over-protective older brothers and Devin's two intrusive brothers, it's a wonder they ever got together. Devin's brothers were able to eavesdrop on a sexual fantasy and cause Charlee to actually experience a mental foursome with them that was so real she fell down on the floor of the restaurant and was paralyzed from the strength of her orgasm. It is needless to say then that the book is very hot and explicit. It meshes seamlessly into the story, however and does not feel at all contrived. Since Devin and Charlee are mates, the sex between them is especially original and satisfying. It sizzles. But you'll enjoy this book for more than the erotic romance. It is also a good suspenseful mystery and a great romance. It is a compelling plot with delightful characters as well. Don't miss it.

Mackenzie McKade’s A Tall Dark Cowboy is a fantastic read.  I never wanted this book to end.  I was laughing and crying until the very end.  This well-written book is a romantic’s dream.  The powerful emotions the characters feel spill from the pages into the heart of the reader.  Wyatt is a strong rugged cowboy willing to standby the people he loves no matter what.  Lacy is an independent woman facing many obstacles in her life.  The courage and grace she displays endears the character to the reader.

Lacy and Wyatt have a magnetic attraction to each other that draws them together no matter what tries to keep them apart.  The chemistry between them was like a blazing inferno.  The passionate love scenes were wild and tender yet packed with emotion.  While reading, I felt like I was obtaining a glimpse into their souls.  Ms. McKade captured a beautiful love story in the pages for this book.  I am looking forward to her next book.

A Tall, Dark Cowboy is a wonderful erotic contemporary western.  Ms. McKade’s use of the written word is truly astonishing.  This story has a strong plot, great characters, emotionally charged dialogue, and enough sexual heat to start a fire.  The first sentence captured my attention and the storyline didn't let go.  The momentum built, seizing my emotions, as I was swept along by the sensual passions of Wyatt and Lacy.  Tears found their way to my eyes as I experienced the emotional anguish Lacy suffered each time she visited her daughter or received a telephone call from the hospital.  Lacy is a strong, courageous, loving mother who is willing to do anything for her child.  She's been deeply hurt, is afraid to trust another man, and doesn't think she'll find any lasting happiness for herself.  Wyatt is often times arrogant, demanding, possessive, and domineering.  He's quick to jump to conclusions and he tends to run with them.  However, he's also dependable, supportive, and loving.  As the two of them come together, each sensuous scene builds until it culminates in explosive bursts of eroticism, which ultimately leads to the realization of their growing love for each other.  I enjoyed reading Ms. McKade's, A Tall, Dark Cowboy, and highly recommend it.

Sizzling from start to finish, A Tall, Dark Cowboy is a fabulous work of art.  Not only does Ms. McKade deliver sensuality, she gives the reader sex hot enough to make them cream.  Never did I feel that the sexual encounters were forced or unnecessary.  The author made me forget Lacey and Wyatt had just met.  I believed in their relationship.  From the moment Wyatt entered the scene, I wanted him; Lacey did not stand a chance.  Animal magnetism oozed off of him in waves.  Even though he was forceful at times, his overall sensitivity was commendable and heartfelt.  I did not think for one moment, that he was sweet in order to get into Lacey’s pants.  Lacey was the model for supreme womanhood.  A single mother with a sick child and no benefit package is a hero in my book.  A Tall, Dark Cowboy is a wonderful character driven novel and I enjoyed it immensely.  I am sure others will to.

I don't want to give away too much, but I am sure that it is a choice that readers will understand. Wyatt seems to be exactly what Lacy doesn't need in her life. The way he shows her otherwise will touch your heart. The heat between these two characters will singe your fingers, yet keep you turning the pages. Secondary characters add a lot to this tale, making it even more emotionally charged.

Mackenzie McKade really lets her romantic side shine in A Tall, Dark Cowboy. Although this has its wonderfully erotic moments, the focus is on the relationship building between Wyatt and Lacy. Wyatt is a hero who goes after what he wants, but his motivation is love and respect, not domination. Lacy has trust issues and Wyatt must prove himself over and over which he does. He is there for her at her most vulnerable moments offering a comforting shoulder to cry on and a strong arm to hold her steady. There’s plenty of steam to go around, also and the start of the book in particular will have you panting in anticipation. Ms. McKade does take a step in a more romantic direction with A Tall, Dark Cowboy, so don’t expect the more dominating sex scenes, but they are hot none the less. You won’t bedisappointed.
